The town has contracted with Lorusso Corp. to resurface various asphalt sidewalks. The project will resurface approximately 7 miles of the towns 140 miles of sidewalks. Public Works will be trying to evenly distribute the work throughout the town. After the asphalt is installed, any excessive low areas in the grass strip will be filled in with loam and seed. We ask the homeowners to water these areas to help germination. The contractor will also be returning to make miscellaneous repairs.We appreciate your patience.

The Norwood Department of Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Town's infrastructure in the of streets, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, storm drains, public shade trees, miscellaneous town owned buildings and land, various component town's motor fleet. DPW is also responsible for Highland Cemetery.
