The Department of Public Works will be
providing holiday recycling from
December 26th through January 2nd as noted below:

Saturday, December 26th â€“ 10:00

Monday, December 28th â€“ 8:00 am â€“ 3:00 pm
Tuesday, December 29th â€“ 8:00 am â€“ 3:00 pm
Wednesday, December 30th â€“ 8:00 am â€“ 3:00 pm
Thursday, December 31st â€“ 8:00 am â€“ 10:30 am
Friday, January 1st â€“ CLOSED
Saturday, January 2nd â€“ 10:00 am â€“ 3:30 pm
single-stream recyclable materials and large cardboard boxes are welcomed.Ã‚Â Cardboard boxes are required to be broken
you bring your materials in a plastic trash bag, please dump the recyclables
into the recycling dumpster and dispose of the trash bag in your regular trash.
you do not have a sticker for your vehicle please be prepared to provide proof
of residency (driverâ€™s license, utility bill, car registration).
*On Saturday, December 26th
we will be
holding a single day Styrofoam

The Town of Norwood DPW
will be picking up
Christmas trees on the same day as your
regular trash pickup during the following dates:
through January 8th
(No pick up on Friday,
Jan.1st due to the holiday or Saturday, January 2nd)
Trees may also be brought to the
Winter St. Composting Facility on Saturdays from 10am â€“ 3:30pm.
Please remove all tree
bags, tinsel, lights and ornaments.
Please, no wreaths. (The
wire frame damages chipping equipment.)

The Norwood Department of Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Town's infrastructure in the areas of streets, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, storm drains, public shade trees, miscellaneous Town owned buildings and land, and various components of the Town's motor fleet. The DPW is also responsible for the Town's Highland Cemetery.
