The Economic Development Committee (EDC) is a five-member Committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The EDC advises the Board of Selectmen on economic development issues. The EDC promotes business growth and development for existing and new businesses interested in locating in Norwood. Two of the committee's primary objectives are as follows: (1) promote the creation of well-paying employment opportunities and (2) attract and retain businesses that will expand the Town's tax base.
