Outreach Program

Our Outreach Coordinator is a liaison between the elderly of Norwood and the services available to them. Assistance and/or information is provided for Farmers’ Market coupons (July-October), fuel assistance (November-April), housing options, legal service referrals, medical equipment loans and donations, personal emergency response systems, property tax abatements, The RIDE, and SNAP (food stamps).

Help is also available to families with concerns about their aging parents and other elderly family members. For Seniors living alone, the COA provides referrals for services, Telephone Reassurance and Support.
