How old do I have to be to join the Norwood Senior Center?
If you are 60 years old or older you are eligible to use the Center and all the services offered.
Is there a charge to join the Center?
There are minimal charges for some activities and exercise classes but no charge to come in and enjoy many of the activities that go on during the day. Please call the Center for information on any class fees.
Is there a lunch program?
We offer lunch September through June at the cost of $5.00. There is no lunch program during the summer.

What hours are you open?
The Norwood Senior Center is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During the months of July and August we are also open on Tuesday evenings until 8:00 p.m.
I don't drive, is there transportation?
We do have bus transportation to and from the Center, as well as local trips. Call for times and to schedule a ride. 781-762-1201
I don't think I'll know anyone when I get there, will I be alone?
The many seniors that come every day are very friendly and the staff will be sure that you make new friends.
I do not live in Norwood, do I have to be a resident to join the Center?
No, all are welcome but keep in mind Norwood residents get local preference and only Norwood residents can use the senior bus.
Do you have a medical equipment loan program?
Yes, we have many pieces of durable medical equipment. Please call the Outreach Coordinator at 781-762-1201 ext 3 for availability.
Do you have a Notary Public at the center?
