CPA helps restore Memorial Hall furniture!
On Monday, we received one table and five chairs which were refinished by the Falvey Finishing Company in Boston. The furniture, originally manufactured in 1928 by the Shaw Furniture Company in Cambridge, was in poor condition with torn leather and severe discoloration of materials. In May 2023, Town Meeting approved funding through the Community Preservation Act to restore the look of these chairs.
