A Sad Annoucement
It is with great sadness that we let you know that Tom McQuaid passed away Monday night. Our hearts and prayers are with Sue and family as they work through this difficult time.
Tom was dedicated to Norwood, serving as a Finance Commissioner, Selectman, and most recently as our CFO. He leaves behind a lasting impact on Norwood, but more so on the people who were fortunate to know him. Tom was kind and caring, always an advocate for anyone and always a peacemaker, always mentoring and guiding anyone who worked with him.
I'll certainly miss all of that, but I know it's his friendship I'll miss the most. Tom was a wonderful human being, a loving father and husband, a dedicated public servant, and a great friend. He will be missed dearly by all, and those of us that knew him are better for it.
