Norwood Police Association Memorial

Norwood Police Association Memorial
On Sunday October 22, 1995 five hundred friends and family members of current and former members of the Norwood Police Department joined us in dedicating this monument to the memory of the departed members of the Norwood Police Association. It is located at the center of Highland Cemetery, Winter Street, Norwood. Click on the thumbnails below to share the remembrances of that special day.
The center stone of the memorial features an etching of Saint Michael, the patron saint of police officers, the closing verse from The Policeman's Prayer, and etchings of the five shield styles the Norwood Police has worn in the past hundred years.
The back contains the names of the departed members of the department.
