The General Meeting of the Friends of the Library will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 7:30 pm in the Simoni Room

And we present ... Hank Phillippi Ryan, Boston Channel 7 News investigative reporter and author of mystery novels Drive Time, Air Time, Prime Time and Face Time. To register for this program after November 1, 2010 or obtain more information please call the library at 781-769-0200.

The Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Library was held on Thursday, June 3 at 7:30 pm in the Simoni Room

Mark your calendars for the Fall 2010 Book Sale on November 6 and 7, 2010

Donations accepted, but...please bring only books and paperbacks in good condition, non-fiction published within the last 5 years, recent best sellers, classic titles in excellent condition and materials about Norwood.

Sorry, we cannot use books in worn, torn or poor condition, textbooks, computer manuals, condensed books, magazines or books with outdated information. Please recycle these items in the town's curbside bins.

The Friends of the Morrill Memorial Library is a non-profit group whose purpose is to promote public interest in the library by supporting and expanding library programming and services. The group's varied fundraising activities have provided funds for children's entertainment, dramatic and musical performances, craft workshops and author nights. They help support the library's literacy volunteer program and have supplied discussion group books, assistive technology and other library materials.
