Beginner Readers' Drop-in Activity Time:
Wednesdays: 10-12 (no registration required, drop-in anytime between 10-12, the self-directed activities take about 20 minutes.)
Each week will feature a fun activity designed to help beginner readers with letter, sound, and sight word recognition. Examples of activites are "Hop on Pop" Word Bingo, letter or word "fishing", a library letter or word hunt, and make your own "Put Me in the Zoo" storybook. Stop in for one or all of the weeks. Most activities are designed so that they can be replicated at home. |

Author's Birthday Celebration:
Grades K-3 Last Monday of the month at 7 - 7:45 pm.
September 27, October 25, November 29
Each month we will choose an author to celebrate, read some of their books, learn about their lives, and create a special birthday display for the library. There will be no food served at this program. |

Spooky Tales for Halloween
Grades K and older
Tuesday, October 26 at 7 - 7:30 pm
Do you love headless horsemen, jumping jack-o-lanterns, and ghoulish ghosts? Then join local storyteller Kurt Jackson for this spine-tingling program. Registration is required.

Scrabble Club
Grades 3rd – 8th (no registration required)
Tuesdays: 7 - 8pm
Drop-in any Tuesday night for a fun and friendly Scrabble Game. All levels of ability are welcome. |

Lucy the R.E.A.D Dog
Saturdays: Sept. 25th and November 20th at 10 - 10:45 am

Beginning readers and up! Lucy is a trained companion dog who would love to listen to you read to her. Come learn about, and share, the joy of reading. You may bring your own book or borrow one from the library. Special event requires registration.
