If you do not see the screen which prompts you to "Create a Free Account," it may be because your computer's security software is preventing authentication of your library card. Try temporarily disabling your security software. If you still encounter a problem, come to the library to set up your account. After the account is established the security software will not prevent you from accessing NetLibrary or downloading Recorded Books.

In order to use eAudiobooks from Recorded Books, you must have:
- A free account with NetLibrary.
- A PC computer that runs Windows 2000 or XP for downloading, and which has Windows Media Player 9 or higher.
- eAudiobooks may be played on your PC or transferred to a portable device.
Criteria for Players:
- Support of Windows Media Player/Digital Rights Management (WMP/DRM) encrypted files.
- Adequate memory - 256MB will hold one eight-hour book, 512 will hold two books, 1G will hold four books.
- Bookmarking or "Off/On" defined as shutting player off without stopping/pusing then restarting player to return to same place in file.
- Full time display/Forward/Reverse aid navigability.
- Ability to play 34kbps WMA files.
Downloading an audiobook:
Step 1 - Create an Account
- If you live in Norwood and have a Minuteman Library card issued by the Morrill Memorial Library you can set up your own account at http://www.mln.lib.ma.us/electronic/norwood.htm
- If you work in Norwood, got your card from another Minuteman library or do not have a library card, come to the library and the library staff will register you for a NetLibrary account.
- Select a username and password
- Once you have created an account, you may log in and download an eAudiobook from home or anywhere your computer and Internet connection permit.
Step 2 - Once Registered...
- Go to the homepage for NetLibrary/Recorded Books http://www.netlibrary.com
- Enter your username and password
- Click the "Log In" button.
Step 3 - Choose an Audiobook
- Browse by keyword/ titlce author, narrator, or genre.
- You can have up to 10 books checked out at once.
Step 4 - Download and Enjoy!
