The Friends of the Library presented Michael J. Tougias who talked about his latest book, The Finest Hours: The True Story of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Most Daring Sea Rescue, co-authored by Casey Sherman, on Thursday, January 21 at 7 p.m. This is the true, gripping story of the valiant attempt to save the dozens of men on board two tankers that split in half off Cape Cod in the winter of 1952. Mr. Tougias has written other books and you can find them in the Minuteman catalog.
