SUMMER JOBS LOTTERY

 

The Town of Norwood is seeking full-time summer helpers to assist in various maintenance jobs around town for the Public Works Department.

 

Duties: raking, litter cleanup, grass mowing, painting and related tasks.
Rate:  $12-$13/hr., no benefits.
Requirements:  Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and ability to move 45-50 lbs. Candidates should also be prepared to perform manual labor under varying weather conditions. Applicants must be able to start work no later than Monday June 10, 2019 and will be expected to work a minimum of nine (9) weeks. Pre-planned vacation time must be disclosed within the application.

Candidates who have completed their senior year of high school and/or currently enrolled in post-high school continuous education program or planned military service preferred.

An official letter from the guidance/ registrar office must be included with application.
The letter must include current graduation expectancy date and good academic standing.

*Incomplete applications will not be included in the lottery process and will be returned to applicant.

 

Candidates will be assigned a lottery number with their application; this will be communicated via email.


Selectmen will pull lottery numbers during the live broadcast
of their meeting on April 30, 2019.
