FOAM (Styrofoam) drop off recycling is scheduled in Norwood 3x a year: Spring Recycle Day, Fall Recycle Day and the Saturday after Christmas. The next drop off FOAM recycling drop off event will be held Saturday, December 26th at the Winter Street Compost Site. Please go to to learn more. PLASTIC BAG/ PLASTIC WRAP can be dropped off at grocery stores. Please click Recycling Your Plastic Film/Bags to learn what types of plastic bags and films are accepted and where can they be dropped off.

All proceeds benefit the Norwood Food Pantry.

Norwood Recycling has partnered efforts with Key for Hope to collect unused keys, and expired dog tags, in an effort to keep scrap metals out of the waste stream. Its estimated that 400 million keys are thrown away yearly! Instead of tossing unused keys (natural resources) in the trash, please drop them off in the DPW Administrative lobby or Ace Locksmith in South Norwood.

Towels, bedspreads, sheets can be dropped off as a reuse for Norwood's Animal Shelter.
