Page 1 of 2 Downtown Steering CommitteeRecognizing the complexity of issues which needed to be addressed by both the public and private sector, the Board of Selectmen appointed a Downtown Steering Committee in April, 1998. The charge of this Committee is to review and report back to the Board of Selectmen on specific policy recommendations to improve the downtown area. The Downtown Steering Committee has the following appointed officials:Jean Taylor, Chairwoman Michael Lyons Paul Bishop Click here for the Planning Department.
