FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How old do I have to be to come to the Center?
If you are 60 years old, or older, you are eligible to use the Center and all of its services.
2. Are there charges to use the Center?
There are minimal charges for some activities and exercise classes at the Center, but no charge to come in and enjoy many of the activities that go on during the day. Please call the Center for information on any class fees.
3. Is there a lunch program?
We offer lunch from September through June, at the cost of $5.00. There is no lunch program during the summer.
4. I don't drive, is there transportation?
We do have bus transportation to and from the Center. Call for times and to schedule a ride.
5. I don't think I'll know anyone when I get there, will I be alone?
The many seniors that come every day are very friendly, and the staff will be sure that you make new friends.
6. What hours are you open?
The Norwood Senior Center is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day. We are also open on Tuesday evenings until 8:00 PM during July and August.
