LISTEN to: |
- concerns you have and try to guide you with suggestions, |

INFORM about: |
- programs and services available to seniors,
- advice on maintaining health,
- resources available to you when problems arise |

ASSIST with: |
- completing applications for various types of financial assistance,
- understanding letters from insurance companies or other entities
- making phone calls, if that is a difficult task for you |
|
REFER to: |
- other agencies or programs that can meet your needs,
- support groups to help cope with cancer, addictions, caregiving, Alzheimer’s and other situations |
|
|
VISIT with: |
- seniors in the hospital or rehabilitation facilities, upon request |
|
|
RECRUIT: |
- volunteers to provide companionship to seniors in the community |
|
|
FIND: |
- the answer to questions you have or someone else who has the answer |
