With a proud heritage as a World War II naval training base, the Norwood Memorial Airport today is a transportation resource used by a virtual "Who's Who" of Massachusetts businesses. From television personalities to Fortune 500 executives, corporate America is saving precious time and money by taking advantage of flight services available at this general aviation airport.
Only a general aviation airport like Norwood can provide air travelers with the ability to set their own flight schedules. However, many corporate aircraft and charter flights also use Norwood Memorial Airport to access their connections to domestic/ international flights at Boston's Logan
Airport and T.F. Green Airport in Providence, R.I.

The Norwood Airport is available, 'round the clock, for emergency medical transport where, regionally, both air ambulance and inter-hospital organ donor flights often originate. With specialized medical centers located in nearby Boston and New York, Norwood Airport's air transport services can be a life-saver, especially when time is critical.
Norwood Memorial Airport is also instrumental in supporting the region's law enforcement activities. Though no longer based at Norwood, the State Police Air Wing continues to utilize the airport when flying missions in the greater Boston Area.
