Education and Outreach

The Education & Outreach subcommittee is focused on creating a unified and streamlined method for the sustainability commission to communicate information and share resources efficiently and effectively with the people of Norwood related to living sustainable lives and the ways in which the town is supporting this goal.

Goals:

• Short Term:
• Create a website where volunteers and community can find out more information about the subcommittees
• Plan and advertise for sustainability series presentation in April

• Medium Term
• Earth Day planning Outreach
• Creation of NCM informational videos
• Education campaign leading up to rain barrel sale
• Long Term
• Create relationships with surrounding towns on sustainability initiatives
• Partner with groups in town to highlight sustainability options/education (high school, businesses, etc.)
• Provide community with updates about Sustainability Commission Initiatives
