Norwood Light Rebates, Mass Save, the Pace Program, & More

The Town of Norwood offers three programs for commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential property owners who want to reduce their energy consumption and utility bills: Norwood Municipal Light & Broadband Department (NMLD) retrofit programs, Mass Save, and the PACE Program.

Norwood Municipal Light & Broadband Department (NMLD) Rebate Program
NMLD offers commercial & industrial lighting retrofit rebates, refrigeration retrofit rebates, and heat pump rebates. NMLD also has a commercial & industrial ratepayers energy audit program.

NMLD's partner, Energy New England (ENE), administers these programs on NMLD's behalf. Click HERE to learn more and apply for one or more of these rebate programs.

PACE Program
Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) is a tax-based financing mechanism that enables low-cost, long-term funding for energy improvements. The program lets you agree to a betterment assessment and lien on your property, sufficient to repay the financing extended by a private capital provider. Mass Save
The towns of Norwood, Sharon, and Walpole are participating in the Community First Partnership offered by the Sponsors of Mass Save.
